Why won't my hair curl?

So i've been trying to curl my hair with my flat iron and i've watched tutorials and everything and i do it just like they do, but my hair just turns out straight no matter how much i turn it, it turns out straight what do i do?Why won't my hair curl?

i think its best for us to go with rollers

they look more natural and the curl lasts much longer

just remember to use a light hair spray



or do what i do

i just sleep with my hair, slightly wet, in a bun

it'll stay curled for at least a day

try burning it with a lighter...that always works
Some people's hairs just don't curl. Mine do curl but after (at most) 30 minutes, it'll be straight again.

Try using a curling iron and tons of hairspray. Bedhead is a good brand to use.
try to iron it right after you blow dry it will curl!!!

i have that problem too

for me my hair is way too silky that is why it does not hold the curl

so if ur hair is silky too then that is whyyy
this is what i do when i shower i don't use conditioner and my hair curls :)
y the hell would u curl ur hair with a straightening iron? its for STRAIGHTENING not curling u use a curling iron
