How to curl hair?

My hair DOESNT curl. ive tried MANY times and it doesnt seem to budge. or if it does curl it will stay in for about 5 minutes with spray. i use a 1.5'; curling iron. my hair is blonde and flat. i need help, any suggestions?How to curl hair?
you Have to wash it the morning u curl it, and BLOW DRY, this will give ur hair more volume and make it less flat.

ok, for curling it, grab a section of hair, not too much, then wrap it around the iron like usual, and spray some hair spray on while the hair is still on the iron, leave it on for like 10 seconds, the longer u keep it on the curlier it will be. let the curl cool and add more hair spray. it also helps if u put half of ur hair up, and curl the bottom, then do the top half, so u have more curls and volume :) good luckHow to curl hair?
i hav straight hair also. it helps if after u shower u put in curling product then braid it, and sleep in the braids. take out the braids in the morning and dont brush ur hair...then ur good to go!
use a curling iron with a special curling cream. this should help the curls stay in place. after you shower, let your hair dry on it's own without brushing or drying it. When it's wet, add the curling gel and then once it's dry use the curling iron. Once you wind a piece hold it tightly for a few seconds.
